Jett has embarked on nine different trips to the continent of Africa, and each time, she finds it hard to leave. For her, Africa exerts a profound spiritual pull, stemming from its people, culture, landscapes, and wildlife—a feeling akin to being very close to God. It's the one place where she feels completely, 100% relaxed.

Over the years, Jett has befriended artisans who introduced her to craftsmen from various parts of Africa. Once she opened her store, she started to bring back and sell these unique items. She feels an insatiable connection to Africa and an enduring desire to keep returning.
